Google will put anything on the map if you ask... one of my neighbor’s had something like “Chad’s BBQ Fun Zone” or some crap pinned over their apartment.

Luckily if you report it to Google, they also will delete stuff like that.

I giggled the whole way there when I went last July. Then I stopped giggling when once I had hiked in:

Pictures don’t really do it justice. Definitely worth the hike in during the summer when the cool water is the reward at the end. Also, this was the height of the silly Prisma craze and I found this picture of my dog I made on the same day...

There is a Beaver Cove up near Moosehead Lake in Maine. I wanted to steal the sign, but they got smart and reinforced the post with metal. Probably numerous other people were cutting down the wooden sign.
